A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after his car crashed into a Scarborough home early Friday morning. The dramatic collision, occurred near Ellesmere and Scarborough Golf Club roads around 5 a.m., leaving the neighborhood shaken. Tow services removed the damaged vehicle and the homeowner’s car, which the impact had pushed into the backyard.
Crash Details Police report that the man was driving a black 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Scarborough Golf Club Road when he allegedly ran a red light, continued at high speed, and ultimately crashed into a home. Video footage shows the car plowing into a parked vehicle in the driveway, pushing it into the house. Commercial towing services were on-site to handle the debris and safely remove the damaged cars from the residential area.
Homeowner’s Shock Homeowner J.P. Gaur, who was awake at the time, initially thought his car was stolen after hearing the loud crash. Upon investigating, he found that his car had been forced into the backyard. Fortunately, Gaur’s family members, who were also home, were unhurt.
Driver’s Condition and Investigation Paramedics took the driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and he remains in critical condition following surgery.
